*HELP* EasyAntiCheat not installed when its installed

I have Reinstalled, uninstalled , verified files, reinstalled and repaired eac for this game, and i cannot for the life of me get it to run eac to play anymore. Please help. Only BF game experience ive had i enjoyed in a long time :LLLL

This 100% works for me everytime. I found this fix from another discussion because I had the same issue so I typed out more detailed instructions so anyone should be able to follow them.

How to Launch BattleBit Remastered if EasyAntiCheat is opening correctly when trying to launch from Steam Library or getting EasyAntiCheat error.

1. Go to your Steam Library.
2. Click Play for BattleBit Remastered.
3. Select Install & Repair Easy Anti Cheat (this won't work, but keep following directions).
4. Click "Yes" on the pop up for EasyAntiCheat (nothing will load correctly, but again, this is fine, keep following directions).
5. Now right click on Battlebit Remastered in your Steam Library and select Properties
6. Click on Installed Files (left side of pop up window)
7. Click Browse
8. The Battlebit Remastered folder opens (minimize Steam to see it)
9. You must right click on EasyAntiCheat and select "Run As Administrator".
10. Game should now load correctly


Be patient with trying to get into your first game, try finding a server that isn't close to max players as by the time you try to join, it will say "Server Full".

sadly this doesnt fix my issue, after the game loads it says : "make sure you have installed EasyAntiCheat and run the game with it"

ive done so many online fixes for this only to have the same issue.

I had this same exact problem. First I thought it was because win11 and I rolled to 10 but still no help. For me the solution was to install Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 package. For some reason eac couldn't run properly without that. Hope it helps

To all the folks who still have problem to this...Please search on google this "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads" Click the link

SCROLL DOWN and you should see "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022"

SCROLL DOWN a bit again you should find 3 Links "ARM64, X86, X64" Select X64 assuming your PC is 64Bit and install it. This should FIX EAC Problem

- man my luck is just eating dirt lately, so when i went to download the 64 bit version it then says : Error 0x80070661 aka its not supported by my processor type. :L well now i need a new computer to play battle bit rofl. or maye i hope theres a way around it.

i got this error when i bought the game and my fix was that i had not installed visual c++ 2015 x86 so i installed it and it worked finally i will link this video if someone faces problem

LMFAO, yea, for some reason GTA V started telling me that EAC wasn't installed, with that games newest update... GTA V don't even use EAC afaik, though so.. must be some kind of steam issue, cause I haven't even bought battlebit :/

Had the same issue and i followed the steps again and it worked, i think i did something wrong the first time. Maybe you did too?

are you in Offline mode steam ? Try Online mode, works for me

Yeah nah all these solutions did not work for me, if you haven’t already all I did to fix it was exit steam and restart it
