XP gain is painfully slow
I've hit higher ranks (90+) and it's taking 2 games top fragging / top 3 leaderboard score minimum for each level.

If it's painfully slow for myself I can only imagine what it'll be like for casual players that aren't sweating the game.

Could we get some kind of Double XP event / reduce the XP needed for each level?
I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of hours needed to reach level 150.

I really don't have much too much input on fps level grinding systems, but this feels like a casual grind to me. But then again, I used to play an mmo that had its first player hit the level cap, no life 3 person shift 24/7, in just over 3 years.

Thats kinda good? Im at around 68 and can get a level each game still or close to it. I dont think you should level up once each game at level 90. Play 32v32 as medic and youll get good XP

Not going to lie, I work from home so I've played and absolutely unhealthy amount of this game since it released.

Some kind of regular weekend 2x XP event would go a long way imo.

yeah, this game has been out less than 2 weeks and you're already half-way to prestige 1

Very unpopular opinion, I might get insulted again by some people for this: But why is this so important? Play the game for the fun of the gameplay? Why does every online game nowadays have to be a total XP farming grindfest? Would you drop the game immediately if there were no such progression systems? I mean it's there and it's not gonna go away and you have every right to comment on it and ask for tweaks or boosts (which aren't rare to have in such games). But personally I never make this as much of a focus as others seem to do.

I spent the past two days playing it... 20 hours already... I did plan on cleaning my house this weekend >.<

2x weekend or certain map/gamemode 2x events would be kinda fun. Get people to play more than just Conquest EVERY SINGLE MATCH.

Because if the average player wants to access all the content while averaging 30k points per game they'd need to put in at my best guess anywhere between 400 - 500 hours of gameplay.

I've played CSGO since I was 16 (10 years) and I only have 830 hours in it.

I understand the grind system but it's a little overkill at the moment for anyone that isn't capable of hitting top scores consistently.

dude the game hasn't even been out for ten days and it is early access - just play for fun instead of trying to sweat the XP

I'm level 44 with 18 hours. I think that's reasonable.

That does not mean 44-88 will also take 18hrs more like 30 or more, the question is in a game with over 1000 levels should it take a long time to go from 90-91?

Yea, one thing that bothers me are the sights locked behind levels. Having to use the iron sight makes it difficult to get kills, but once you level up and get better at the game, you get even better weapons?

Forcing low level inexperienced players to stick to less capable equipment seems to add a big disadvantage to new players.

Believe it or not but its to prevent you from getting max level fast. If the progression was fast than getting max level would not feel as good. You're already half way there. You're a higher level than like 95% of all players and the game has only been out for a week. If anything that proves that the progression system is too fast. Maybe if we cry more the devs will change the progression again making it even easier to level up......
