Sniping Tips
I noticed I pretty much only play a recon class in this game so I wanted to give some basic sniping tips to help you out if you're new to the game and similar games. These will range from very simple understandings to some somewhat ambiguous mechanics.

#1 - Don't snipe from an obvious spot, these spots include shrubs, rooftops, towers, cranes, popular windows (main areas), etc.

#2 - After getting a few kills, or a nasty kill, relocate to a new location immediately and carefully. Odds are you will have people call-out your area and have a death squad rushing to you, or a sniper preparing a longshot to counter you. Keep them guessing your next move!

#3 - Long Range Scopes have scope glint and it's very easy to tell if a glint is from a scope or gadget. Medium Range Scopes do not have a scope glint and are very underrated for ranges of around 300m-400m. Try them out, they are very accurate and easy to use. Another great thing about them is that the kick of the sniper rifle isn't as jarring and you can see where your shots are going.

#4 - Keep tabs on the rounds in your magazine, the worst feeling is dry firing when you line up a shot, count your shots.

#5 - Last and very importantly, it might be best to play in a private squad to stop people from spawning in on you as they made get in your way or shoot from your positioon and give yourselves away.

dont look for targets through the scope.
spot a target first than quick scope him.,

This can be good for short distances, very hard for long ranges.

love sniping in this game. for me the most important thing is to make sure you have good cover. use the buildable sandbags/walls to create small openings to reduce exposure to only the direction you are looking. you can then move around that opening to get the angle you need. i see too many people just sniping in the open without cover and they get countersniped

Honestly I think the sandbags only give away your position. I never use them anymore, though I have set a trap using them.

It’s all about distance and size.
Also just because it’s 42 inch doesn’t mean you have to use everything full screen. Think of it as a 42 inch window that you can place as many smaller windows within as you wish at the size you whisk. Many times I play games at 1440p but with the window of the game around 24 to 27in size.

But in this game… the full 4k 42in lol.

Put a red dot on top of scope & scan with that.

120hz. You wont believe this but TV are more feature rich than monitors. They are color accurate on any formats. SRGB or whatever. Most monitors have a broken sRGB color space which is 95% of the web.

Mostly due to monitors being made to be a little more crunchy. Makes it easier to see people in general, but lacks some fidelity. Unless you buy a super expensive monitor.
