For those who played this: Is this Ace of Spades 2.0?

So... it is a pixel-shooter with destroyable envirorment... but is it like the good old "Ace of Spades - Battle Builder" where you could dig trenches, build towers and stuff on the battlemaps like in Minecraft?
This game was amazing back in the days but sadly later on died due to canceled support and overtaking of cheaters...

I loved Ace of Spades so much. Batllebit isn't really like this game tho. Visually it looks the same but there isn't any "sandbox construction" aspect in it. You can build little walls that are just small covers but you cant build idk a house, or dig tunnels. Battlebit is really like Battlefield (when it was good).

Yeah... loved Ace of Spades... literaly the only multiplayer shooter i ever realy played. But sadly overrun by cheaters... even i got accused of cheating. But i just played the game so often i just got good at sniping. XD
Would love to see it reborn anew with a good anti-cheat support.

Yeah that game was the most fun i had in a multiplayer shooter. But even thought Battlebit is different it's also a very nice game, you can try it. Obviously it's still in early acces so there is a lot missing but it's great already.

the new update brought this in the release notes:

Ace Of Spades-style voxel servers (Yes, we have this feature! It's currently not public and is reserved for community servers.)

They are adding a voxel game mode that is like Ace of Spades. You can see the game mode in custom servers options, under game mode selection. They notated that in recent patch notes.

Depends which patch you're referring to. I prefer 0.5 AoS with bolt action rifles. This game has people lean spamming and lasering you full auto across the map

Is it like Ace of Spades? Not yet. They have experimented with more voxel-based map design, building, and destruction. It's definitely in the works, but not a priority right now. More of a fun side-mode that will come later.

They are planning on adding a mode where you can dig.

Yeah... i prefered the simple capture the flag AoS-maps without the whole classes-bull... just a simple bolt action rifle, digging my trench or sitting in a tree defending my lines snipering across the nomansland... got so used to it some called me a cheater too. Only game it came to this. XD

Nice to here i propably was not the only one asking about the whole digging thing since they now want to add this. :D
