BattleBit Remastered

BattleBit Remastered

Does battlebit's AC still have kernel level access 24/7 on boot.
I'm real confused about this because i just found out there using AC with kernel level access that is a massive concern. I have not been able to find a 100% concrete answer. I really don't like kernel level access AC manly if is runs all the time on boot.

Easy Anti-Cheat is kernel level, however, it only activates on game launch. It is not like Vanguard, which is one of, if not, the first program to start up, and the last program to shut down.

This is why many players are opposed to the implementation of FACEIT.

FACEIT is active as long as your computer is booted up, just like Vanguard.

Cheaters are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their pants and cover it by nonsence about privacy.

There are still as ton of cheaters in this game, regardless. This is literally a cheat paradise. Absolute playground for them. The game is great, but as always, the cheats are going to make it deteriorate as fast as it has been.

You shouldn't give a toss if/because

A) You don't cheat

B) You're really not interesting enough to spy on. Truly. Nobody here is.

The problem with kernel level AC is that is has direct access to your OS and can install drivers that are infected with malware / make changes to you're pc with out permission. It is a massive security risk if it is compromised. That is the biggest problem with kernel level AC.

Look up what kernel level means. Then you'll understand the concern.

Why would cheaters care though? They'll just get cheats that also run at kernel level lmao

They are raised with constant surveillance so no wonder they dont care about privacy sadly.

EAC is kernel-level tied to game launch. If another game uses a different version of EAC, you have to close your first game to activate the second. So EAC is actually completely off when you are not playing any game that uses it.

I still hate that it's kernel level. As long as it dose not run 24/7 and only when playing. But I still hate that it is kernel level at all.
