What are the specifics on bannable behaviour offenses
(this topic isn't about cheating or game breaking things, just player behaviour and limits on the rules on things surrounding VOIP, behaviour, etc.)

were all roughly familiar with what is and isn't allowed in the game but I do not know what warrants what level of punishment, does a distasteful or mistaken statement warrant an immediate ban and is there any ban that skips momentary ban and goes straight to permanent,

also what warrants a warning rather than a kick or ban. A lot of these things from my understanding has not been given specific's about, and I don't know what is what.
It has all been very vague and vague rules tend to suffer from biased selective enforcement.

like for example is there a category of severity, or is it all left up to selective enforcement by the individual currently handling it?

things have been so vague that from what info I've gathered I only know this (which I am unsure what the accuracy of it all is)

1, a acquaintance of mine states if you receive around 10 or so reports he will be auto-banned for around a week, and would need to contact a moderator in order for them to undo the ban anytime sooner (he is a little-bird pilot who flies in strange ways and has games where he gets 100 kills in it, due to it he has been banned 20 times now from mass reports, being manually unbanned every time)

2, if you receive 2 timeout bans for VOIP offences the next one will be permanent, no info on cool-down or anything on it

this is all I know about the specifics on how it all works and by all means it seems very vague. would it be possible for a consistence description or summary of 1 how the system works and 2 what warrants what.

(PS, I have yet to receive any kicks, bans, or warnings and I've heard you can look at what other players report you on but I don't know where that menu sits so haven't seen it.
I am not looking to get into any trouble anytime soon because I enjoy this game and want to keep playing it.)

you did neither, because you know you were about to get blown out, dont you.

oh well, moving on
My definitions would be the same as the dictionary. Regardless the rules are not vague. Also I will not be giving you an example as you have already said you would find it offensive. :) I do not wish to offend.
to be fair he is kinda right even if those things have clear definitions some people have subjective opinions of what is considered "hate speech" and moderators can sometimes have these bias's just look at twitch, but i don't know if that's the case here

"Please explain in detail the rules"
"it's pretty clear cut, just: (vague nonsense)."

It was indicated in a previous thread that they will ban for playing copyright music over VOIP as this annoys the feckless sellout streamers. Is this true?

OP: You can see what reports you have had by pressing TAB and clicking on your name when dead.

Mans mad people report idiots that mic spam music that sounds like its going through a 2000's razor phone. Get clapped bozo

I don't believe it to be the case. Just about every person claiming a ban has been found out to have said some form of slur. And if someone has been falsely banned, they can appeal it on the discord.

If you have to question it, don't bother saying it.

I banter all the time in this game. What gets you banned is racist, derogatory, political, or vile remarks. Just be one step above being a piece of ♥♥♥♥. That's literally all it takes

Iv probably had roughly 40 reports on me and 0 bans. Exploit/grief/discriminating voip.
calling people Rats is offensive apparently, using an SMG is exploiting and countering enemy group plays is griefing... the report system abuse should be bannable.

easy fix is to just not use the ingame chat options

"hate speech" will probably do it... whatever that is... good luck defining it
yeah, things like that are usually pretty badly defined, making calling someone a nimrod technically a breach of rules, which just removes all the fun in it all.

plus they say they allow trash talk as long as its playful competitiveness so its all just coming off as a sort of conflicting statement or trap even.

In the age of hyper-fragile Karen's it all just seems like a bear-trap waiting to happen.

All of these are true and I would hope to see you face justice for your crimes against Battlebit and her People.

Here is a list of what not to do shown in their EULA under "Restrictions" https://store.steampowered.com/eula/1611740_eula_0

"harassing, stalking, threatening, embarrassing, spam or doing anything else to another User of the Game that is unwanted, such as repeatedly sending unwanted messages or making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.; take any action, organize, transmit any content, effectuate or participate in any activity, group, or guild that is harmful, tortuous, abusive, hateful (including “hate speech”), racially, ethnically, religiously or otherwise offensive, obscene, threatening, bullying, vulgar, sexually explicit, defamatory, libelous, infringing, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, encourages conduct that would violate a law or is, in a reasonable person's view, objectionable and/or deemed to be inappropriate in the sole discretion of Company"

Think it's safe to say this: Treat people like you would face to face without starting a fight...
Let's say this game is a paintball match or airsoft war IRL. You can do light trashtalk ofcourse, asking an enemy for ammo right before you shoot them is funny as hell.
Asking enemy chopper for a ride while you chuck C4 on it, is funny as hell.
Saying: yo kid you should unalive yourself because you are so bad, probably live in your moms basement blah blah blah'. isn't fun as hell. If toxicity is fun to you, you shouldn't be playing this. Yes there are a lot of vids of people being racist/spamming music/ being overly rude for no reason. But i bet half those people are banned by now lol.

Basically, just never say anything vaguely disagreeable, or get hit with that work based on how the mods and the person who reported you feel that day B)

Trust me, its not worth the headache.

They are never going to list off specifics like you'd want. It's just a trap they'd be setting for themselves in the future.

Setting specifics risks them accidentally missing or skipping something (i.e. "You cannot say X, Y and Z." and then someone says "W" and the devs/mods just forgot about W, so having to overstep their rules or else having to allow something they don't want to allow).

Keeping it somewhat vague is the only way they don't set a trap for themselves. If you have to ask, just err on the side of caution and don't say it... if you have to ask, you probably know the answer anyway...

Thanks for the jester, more points to invest into a background B)

the rules for banning are kept intentionally vague so that y ou can be banned without justification. Only gripe I have with this game.
