Graphics don't automatically make a game good but blocky 8 bit graphics like this can definitely ruin a game when it's trying to be a military shooter.

Clueless Corporate Cucks (CCC) took a massive sh...on it, so Kotikk, Willie(son) and friends could buy themselves another yacht.

They mangled the genre so much, that 3 not so experienced devs and a game engine used by niche RPGs was enough to make Battlebit Remastered the fps game of the year 2023.

And you know what? It actually IS better than most of the recent shooters from massive studios.

You on the other hand, are playing games where the drop off is bigger so shouldnt you be complaining to companies like EA and Dice for ruining BF beyond BF2 when thyey started adding MTX and pay 2 progress faster elements, alongside removing mod support, alongside just giving you a limited amount of maps.

What happened was Toxic Feedback from Youtubers/Twitch streamers. As the Rise of them grew, the quality of gaming went down. We've lost several genres of games like RTS and Simulation because of them.

This game was successful because it didnt listen to them, and of course the people crying the most in this game? Are Streamers.

Proof?
Battlefield2042 was given the approval by the biggest battlefield streamers/youtubers, such as Matimi0,Levelcap,Westie,JackFrags and Xfactor gaming. They've played the game 2 years into its design phase, and played several times behind closed doors. All gave their approval and when the beta released, PRAISED the game while the community was shocked, and only after the community backlash did they release videos repeating that backlash but simultaneously defending the devs.

Dawn of War 3, A much beloved RTS that was makin a come back after years, and when they wanted to add competitive play that was different than starcraft (aka you can tell whos gonna win within the first 3 minutes) and Streamers/Youtubers called it a "DOTA CLONE" because they added towers to drag out the game (So you cant win in 3 minutes) And bashed the game to the point to where the devs litterally announced they were abandoning it, and with that the RTS genre DIED.

It's not the streamers that's the issue anytime a hobby or medium has an influx of money, fans and or becomes mainstream it soon becomes mediocre manufactured garbage. Look at any medium. Art, Music, film. When they became billion dollar industries it became about profit, we all ♥♥♥♥♥ and complain about the quality of things and it's not any ideal or any lack of skill or talent. Money it goes to what sells and unfortunately garbage sells. Indies are your only hope hence this game and there will be others. want a real eye opener look into focus groups especially when it comes to AI in video games. welcome to the abyss
