Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed error?

I just got this error when launching Battlebit Remastered today and it was working just fine yesterday night. This is the first time I've seen an launch error for Easy Anti-Cheat, anyone else experience this kind of error?

Update: Got an error code while trying to reinstall Easy Anti-Cheat for Battlebit Remastered: 609, anyone familiar with this kind of error code?

Yeah I was just playing it yesterday, but now when i launch the game it tells me to make sure I have easy anti cheat installed.

Try locating your BattleBitconfig in AppData/Roaming and changing eac3_installed and/or eac2_installed to false. Worked for me just now.

So I had to reinstall the game and run the "Install & Repair Easy Anti-Cheat" to fix the issue(but I also had to check to make sure I didn't have duplicate Easy Anti-Cheat executables).

However, I won't close this discussion: I'm leaving it open as a way of tracking issues with the Anti-Cheat program for Battlebit Remastered, that way the Devs see what's up.

i did this as well, and was able to play one game, but after that it kept doing it.

i got this error when i bought the game and my fix was that i had not installed visual c++ 2015 x86 so i installed it and it worked finally i will link this video if someone faces problem

literally tried all of the "fixes" here. Even as far as completely removing the services themselves, EAC troubleshooting page isn't even worth printing out and using as toilet paper.
