The vector has too much recoil. The bolt moves downward mitigating a good portion of the vertical recoil and the game does not account for it. The vector needs higher headshot damage too. It is already weak. They need to buff other things instead of nerfing 1 gun because people complain about it.

I'm also so tired of this game balance culture that now has seeped from cod to this. I bet all the cod youtubers are now making battlebit click bait "meta" gun videos and then act surprised 2 weeks later that everybody is using that "meta" gun that they promoted. Then demand it has to be "tuned" for being too popular and their followers think like they say. Because they are some YT celeb with millions of subs. Being some pretentious ambassador of video games. Acting like their status gives them some special privilege to influence how games should be developed or patched. I hope the devs don't bend the knee on this issue.

Good thing its 24 damage then and needs 5 shots to kill like the PP2000 - only with a faster RoF of 1200 compared to 900.

It needs a small adjustment for sure but most people crying about it straight up have no clue what they are talking about. So many weapons are competitive with the Vector - people just see it a lot because its the best in slot SMG and if you are a strong and aggressive player you are probably going to want to use an SMG for its mobility and its low recoil+high RoF makes it fairly easy to use for any newbies.

Its also got the slowest ADS time of all SMG's at 250ms and slower than most AR's so you do have to pre-aim with it, if you don't you'll lose to basically anything.

Reducing the standard mag to 33 rounds puts it in line with the rest of the SMG's damage per mag, and making the damage drop off start earlier would give AR's have more advantages - although all SMG's have similar ranges thats not a problem unique to the Vector - AR's also have this problem where they infringe on the effective DMR ranges.
But even then talking about range is a nightmare because most people dont know what 50m or 100m looks like. Some melt the other day posted a clip titled something like "smg btw" and he killed someone at 40m - like yeah it should be working at that range lmao.
