Sniper Scopes could use better ranging marks.
The current scopes have marks for ranging that don't make sense. its hard to get an accurate shot at far distances since Im not sure what each mark means in distance. Also the first mark tends to be like 750 meters which is to far in my opinion. It should have a mark for 200 300 meters and so on. I really enjoy this game!

yea the marks feel kinda useless, but just fyi:
You can zero in by holding ALT + Scrolling
The marks arent accurate on any scope i tried. you just kinda have to shoot and remember. I suggest shooting at something that is going to show debris when you hit the mark. that helps me calibrate the distance i need to account for in whatever scope i choose to use. my favorite so far is Prisma, The circle around the cross hair helps me calculate how much movement i need to compensate for before lining up the shot.
You should learn to use zeroin.
i dont even know what the zero key is, and i think its a chore to have to change it. people run too fast. i only used zeroing for arma 3, due to mapping system and field distance, i could easily pinpoint their location and zero properly. Not as easy here as everything happens too fast.

#1 told you how.

And range finder is quite handy? Why would you run w/o range finder if you're going for med to long range sniping o.O

The marks are purely cosmetic. I wondered the same thing as you because when i was in the military i learned how to use an ACOG and the marks are distinctively there to move your aim "up" the line as your target moves farther away in increments of 50 meters.

In battlebit, I unlock the ACOG and find out they are 100% cosmetic and the marks mean nothing.

You have to use the "zero" mechanic in game. If the target is 100m away, set your zero to 100m and just aim dead center. Or if 1000m away, set your zero to 1000m and aim dead center.

And you can still zero to 300 and pop heads.
