PSA: avoid using any form of in game chat at all costs!

This game has the worst moderation of any online game I've ever seen. Typing basic profanity in chat will get your entire account banned without warning. Playing music in the background and some of it leaking through your mic can get you permanently banned from the entire game without warning. The chat system in this game is designed to get your account banned, nothing else. Create a discord server, chat with people there. Do not use in game voice chat or text chat.

Reminder that this user was banned for calling someone an R-Tard and telling others to off themselves in game and has suffered some repercussions and now they're salty that they can't be a terrible person in game without repercussions.

I haven't used chat at all in the game, saw that stupid threatening message and immediately turned it all off. Useless feature designed to farm bans. Just check the top right of your screen while playing, it's clear what the purpose is.

Oh, is that so? You think it's to farm bans? You don't think it's because the devs of the game are tired of toxicity and want to have a game where everyone can have fun without shouting nasty things at one another because you think words don't have any meaning behind them?

So if you tell someone you're gonna do something, you think it's okay not to do it because words have no real meaning?

I have a friend banned 5+ times now. Some for hours, others for days. He's just now getting off his fifth ban that lasted 3 days lol. He's been banned for everything from saying the r-tard comment, the hard er, making fun of peoples mothers, you name it. He comes from COD and alot of classic console games 2k and the rather. Battlebit isnt the only game hes been banned on Fivem, Garrys mod, and plenty others for obvious reasons. This is the first PAID shooter hes been banned from solely due to voice communication. I told him to just turn it off if he can't seem to stop calling people slurs, or just turn off the hotmic feature. He says that ruins the game for him and he'd rather be banned lol. I think it is r-tarded that people get banned for voice comm.

There is nothing out of the ordinary about his conversation, ignore the obvious terminally online trolls on this forum. This game is not a place for normal people, at least in voice comms. Just turn it off and use discord with your friends.

and then getting mad that you got a 4 day ban for it.

oh and blaring music thru a mic is called "mic spamming" and is very annoying
so yeah people will report you for it as well as mute you.

Also discussing bans on these forums is against Steam/Valves ToS

when you get killed in game your mic is active for 3-5 secs
so keep that in mind.

The 1 day timer I believe is how long ago you got reported (does the timer tick up or down?) and it's just what you were reported for, no ban.

Anytime you click on someone's name like that on the scoreboard it will pop up with a list of public reports that anyone in the server can see.
