Well there are players on PC that use a controller on cross play games that insist the aim assist doesn't give the controller an advantage, so a developer might cater to them.
But I guess I'll see how Dr. Disrespect does on this game tomorrow with entry level gear. He might not be Shroud or High Distortion level at these games but he has enough experience he shouldn't rage quit over the TTK difference between entry level guns and higher ranked guns.
Edit: Turns out Dr. D shredded at the game. Got like 50 kills in under 30 minutes and his KDA was probably around 5.0 but suddenly quit after his last death. Complained he was on a 30 second delay and people still joined in. Not taking into account he was literally talking on the mic so everyone would recognize him and a good portion of his deaths was running into the enemy, not the enemy finding him. Not sure if he was just being in character or a really dumb take considering he was too mobile on large maps to be stream sniped in any way.
Turns out some of the players are using hudsight, so they can hip fire spray. Explains what I'm running into.
You don't need a program to aim roughly at the center of your screen without a crosshair.
Incidentally, if it seems like you're losing a lot of encounters where you shot first: check your network stats. Packet loss is far worse in this game than in others, because there doesn't seem to be any redundancy on bullets that were in lost packets.
In other words: If you have a sudden bit of packet loss in an intense firefight, a third or more of your bullets may have never actually fired.
Yet programs like that seem to be popular. Also aiming "roughly" at the center means it's likely your first shot will miss and since people are spraying bullets, that first shot is pretty important.
Most monitors have a build in Crosshair.
Check your monitorsettings!
I don't use a monitor. I use an old flat screen TV because it's bigger for a cheaper price and my boomer eyes don't need more than 1440 or 60 fps.
I feel the same. I dont know if im too old for modern fps or something wrong about the game. I think is a server issue, lost of package, what you see in your screen dont reflect the reality on the server. We lag beind in some sort.
I cant do anything in the game, i got shot in milli second. But when i load another FPS (squad, arma) im good as always.
