They are giving a small part of the community access to test community servers. I see there's some EU community servers up already and they are playing really well.
I'm sure community servers will be coming soon. I think a lot of people are anxiously waiting for the release.
Here in South Africa we have no official servers, so community servers will be great. The player base here in pretty excited for Battlebit
Also, I would love to blacklist the Discord moderators/developers so they cannot moderators/play on a server rental I paid for. We're playing with a Farmer who don't like trespassers, we got our right to have our private property and tell people to get out of my yard.
PS, that will be extremely useful to test out the helicopter in a private password protected server.
Sounds like you're trying to set up a hobo camp in the farmers fields
I am also from South Africa and have decided to wait for servers to become available here before buying the game. The Dev team has their hands full right now but I hope they can get community servers going.
They would have sold that part of the field when they allowed people to set up their own servers..
Would be call if host can do things like restrict class numbers, restrict weapons, turn friendly fire on etc.. if progression is going to be turned off on community servers they should allow the host to choose what weapons are available.. could be really cool if it's like what we've seen in other realistic shooter fan servers.
I'd love to see some nightmap only servers roll up. It's honestly the most unique thing battlebit brings to the table and it's so uncommon with mapvote around.
