A better gear unlocking system - how to fix the grind.

Since so many players agree that the grind is awful, and partially even refund due to it, here is my suggestion how to to it better:

Instead of unlocking things in an arbitrary order and per kill - which is a terribly designed system..

Give points for every kill & helpful action a players does, e.g. reviving a teammate, capping a zone, etc. That system is already in place and used for experience anyway.
Now let the player use these points to freely unlock the weapons & gear they want to unlock.

This will not only make the grind fun, it will give player a meaningful choice and it will improve teamplay, as people will be more willing to help their team instead of just hunting for kills to unlock stuff.

That's it, a simple change that would greatly improve the game for everyone.

I'm level 110 with a full time job and kids. If you want a little secret on how to level up faster.
Spend a session being a squad leader marking targets and going after capture points. You will be suprised on how fast that XP bar goes up.

Just have everything unlocked. Why do modern games do this ridiculous unlock system in the first place? If your game is good people will keep playing, they don't need a stupid hook to come back to it like unlocking things. This is one of the worst modern day gaming ideas ever.

The problem isn't as much how fast you gain XP, it mainly is how many kills you need to fully unlock all attachments for a certain weapon.

And it's funny the people who don't like my suggestion have to resort to ad hominem, as they can't come up with a valid reason why this system isn't better, or even what is so good about the current one.
