RIP
Neither do I but is excluding yourself from the community online going to deal with those issues...? I don understand where you're coming from because I've had similar frustration over cheaters in the past.
I would rather you played online with other genuine players and report when needs be. There's nothing like playing with a team of real people and fighting real people, for the most part the report system is fairly hard to circumvent as it's practically policed by the community with reports etc.
I still don't know if moderators check any evidence ie clips in game kill replays etc as the report system could be used and abused but how long will they keep it up this type of moderation, sure hope they don't just abandon the game it's good fun.
and you don't think with some of the extra money he's gotten that he'll buy himself a brand new computer and continue to work on the game on a brand new machine?
Yes I would rather not play online with cheaters and play offline, than having to report and deal with cheaters.
Single player games will make a giant comeback very soon as AI and machine learning are picking up massive steam. Soon we will have games where the NPCs act just like real humans and this is when single player games will become more popular than online games.
