The Littlebird Armed is awful and useless
The helis flight handling is awful, and it's extremely difficult to actually hit someone with that minigun ... not to mention that it takes way too long to kill someone with that gun.
It's ridiculous that a guy with a sub-machinegun is more dangerous to the heli than the heli is to the soldier.

The littlebird armed needs a different weapon loadout, a small HE-frag for the minigun (like they do have in real life) and preferably a few HE rockets.

The goal is to not stay in a vehicle the entire game. If you want to feel like a god in a Helicopter, go play one of the other many games that has insanely strong vehicles.

first of all i never fly heli so im talking from a position of a guy on the ground that fighting helis even with smgs they should be more scary as of now im either completly ignoring them because i know that if they start shooting at me i have pretty big chance of killing pilot with whatever i have in hands so i think it should get some buffs i was thinking maybe bullet spread from what im seeing its a laser beam and people have hard time aiming it so if bullets would spread a little it could help

Yeah it's really like shooting a laser beam, which makes it impossible to aim, unless you stop moving with the heli and then everyone can shoot you out of the cockpit in no time.
Which is fine, as it's not an armored heli, but it really needs a bigger spread for it's weapons, hence why I suggest small HE rounds for the minigun.

Swapping the bindings for Yaw to mouse X+/- and Roll to A/D has helped immensely with aiming, though it is still quite hard to get the 3-4 hits needed for a kill. I haven't had enough flight time yet to say i've conquered the skill curve, so I could be off base on this.

I would argue they should increase the lethality of the guns by about 20%, but also make the choppers 20% less resistant to small-arms fire.

I already did that, swapped it to A/D for roll and Yaw to mouse x. It was impossible to fly before, now it's just near impossible. :P
Flying is my favorite part in games, especially combined arms games, but this one made me want to not touch the Littlebird ever again.

More damage for the guns is a must, but I don't think 20% more vulnerability to small-arms fire is good, because the littlebird is already so weak to small arms fire, especially the pilot. I have shot the pilot out of a flying littlebird with my standart medic sub-machinegun multiple times. That didn't feel good honestly, it felt cheesy.

So i probably have the most experience in this comment section with over 1k kills with the littlebird. I think its perfectly balanced. I have around 50 hours with the littlebird and avarage about 40 kills per game in every map with a personal record of 74 kills on wakistan. The littlebird is defintely hard to use at first but a buff to this vehicle would destroy the balance of the game if a high skill player gets his hands on it. I mean there is a guy doing 150 kills per game on avarage with the littlebird (memento mori its his yt channel). Give it 1 to 2 months and you will get annoyed by high skilled littlebird players. Tips if you want to get more kills:
-change keybinds so you can properly aim
-always fly fast holding W
-practice long range bursts, even if you don't clearly see the enemy just trust the miniguns and you will get a kill
-constantly heal your heli and yourself as soon as you take damage
-don't be reckless or you'll pay the price
-shoot chokepoints with high density players from long range and you'll get 2/3 kills in 1 sweep
-always keep your distance

The thing is that both the Littlebird and that Blackhawk are pathetically weak. I don't think any of them ever killed me - they tried, but it never went beyond some bleeding, if they even managed to hit me on the ground at all.

They might as well not be armed, it would barely make a difference. I don't necessarily need something like the attack chopper in Rising Storm 2 that can lay waste to whole waves of enemies without getting much of a dent or being back in action too quickly. But if me as a person on the ground who is always on the receiving end thinks those choppers in Battlebit are a joke... well, then they probably are.

main thing imo is letting you keep the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miniguns spun up without looking around. that alone woudl double effectiveness

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the yaw controls to the mouse axis. how did you do it?

It's in keybinds.
