BattleBit Remastered

What does ALT TAB Task Manager close Easy Anti Cheat really mean?
I have never cheated nor do I ever want too but I have seen others saying this is true? Is this because of the cheapest EAC they bought? Is this why cheating is so bad? How do other games with EAC handle this? Is this normal for a anti cheat to be closed while game is running? Could this be a simple fix to get rid of basic cheats and basic cheat engine? Patch this one small thing? make it so you cant close it?

Use another Anti-cheat...
Valorant is supposed to have a really good system...

To me, having good anti-cheat>>>>>balancing the game, adding new stuff, etc...

EAC is the worst anti-cheat system out there, it's nearly completely useless.

The devs are going to implement a custom version of Faceit soon, one without the kernel level checks (which makes it even less usefull).

The only anti-cheat system that actually works is AI based. A good video how they work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkmIItTrQP4

Hopefully they try that on a couple of servers.

EAC is fine if its properly implemented which for this game its not. Its not perfect but can be a lot better then this but legit every anti cheat out there is bypassed. Look at rust cheaters if they bypass there still get banned within a week or so in most cases

They aren't out yet. At least not officially. So there is no way to actually verify this. With this in mind, saying it works is a stretch, instead you can hope it works.

You are trusting it works based on closed data. I can link videos of youtubers doing fluff pieces about self driving cars too. A.I. driving cars if we want to cash into the buzz word. Thing to understand is the youtubers in these relationships are rewarded for publishing things quite uncritically. It's almost like a sponsorship. I mean, we know in hindsight that self driving technology still isn't here and is actually quite deadly despite the semi-sponsored videos that promoted it.

And on that front. It's not really A.I. either. It's algorithms and prediction models based on data being fed. So if we want to call that A.I. then a fair bit of ACs on the market are already A.I. based... and your weather station's local forecast is apparently ran by A.I. too and has been for half a century if that's the standard we're going by.

Nice response. People watch YouTube ads and think they’re educated on the subject now. All of a sudden they know every thing about how to fix everything.
I'd rather have EAC than one of these "superior" anticheats that rely on kernel access.

The possibility of losing unfairly in a video game is less of a concern to me than giving up all my info to some third party.

EAC is windows firewall. Keeps the common buttfaced problems out. You need other systems in-play to counter the bigger threats.

Without EAC you can actually cheat at Battlebit (and others)without downloading any software.
You guys are both miss informed, EAC very much has kernel level access otherwise it wouldn't detect drivers which is what its actually good at. Battleeye is better at detecting overlays.
