Cool. Because I didn't accept that stuff yet I can still play the game. Sounds good to me
Most people are already streaming, so it just resolves the report system.
As each user no longer has to record themselves, then post the recording that's already there.
Just saves steps, and likely has far better compression, and time saving features since the system is built around it, instead of it requiring you to email a Dev.
If you play the game, you agreed to TOS, there is no technicality.
You also have to hold acceptance to join each and every match.
It's really not. You agreed to it when you started playing DayZ, Call of Duty, CS:Go, TF2, VRChat, ect. ANYTHING with Ingame voice chat or text chat has those interactions logged and recorded.
Battlebit just has the decency to tell you it's happening and let you opt out upfront.
Besides, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about. Besides, the mere action of logging onto your PC is a logged and recorded act these days. Google how to bake a cake? Yep, recorded. That naughty furry OwO time you took part in last week? Yep, recorded and logged for advertisement and sales purposes.
Your "private" messages on discord to your friends? Recorded and stored for future review in the event of the breaking of ToS.
What you call a "Complete invasion and control" is what the internet is all about. Steam ITSELF even records information about your computer on a frequent basis, and you agreed to let it happen by using the platform. It's hypocracy to complain about a game LETTING YOU KNOW and LETTING YOU OPT OUT instead of hiding it in the ToS/EULA that is so riddled with lawyerspeak that nobody cares to read it.
My bad, I assumed they were saying they never agreed to the Terms and conditions, which I was like, "You are playing the game" lmao.
Though yeah, if they don't use Voip, then no one can record their voice, haha.
