They have said they will be taking many steps in the future to deal with this problem.

Right now they have EAC which is kernel level on windows but not linux, they will be moving to FACEIT which is kernel level on Linux as well I believe.

what's the point? i report one and ten substitute him.
most of the time i don't even know if it is a hacker or a really good player since there isnt any kind of kill cam to see if it was a leggit shot or not, and that is really frustrating

1) This game is FULL of cheaters.
2) MOST of the time I cannot tell if they are actually cheating, or if they're just good players.

You can spectate, just respawn, and switch to spectator mode.

You're getting told to report cheaters with evidence, basically to do the job of the devs and moderators, instead of just playing the game.

There's an endgame AI solution but they won't implement that. Why? Cheats are good for profit. Cheaters get a rush for a few days or weeks, some get banned and they buy the game again = profit.

It will never get better.

Reporting cheaters with evidence is told as an option.

Otherwise, simply report in game for cheating and they will probally check it out but delayedly.

they have no chance against the cheaters in the end. the bigger problem is fans of some streamers on meth who attact hordes of idiots to play this game. good for the dev to earn some money but man...sometimes it´s like playing with cod players. no initiative, no creativity, no common sense. Also nobody shoots at things. You can enter a house where there is five of your teammates and you will get shot from inside that house...it´s absurd.

They are making a different FACEIT system for this game.
FACEIT is just the brand.

It will be functional for Windows, linux, Steam deck and I am sure others.

6. If you check our subreddit, yes you will find people complaining. It's part of the job and we are always there to listen and understand them. However, as a flag, most of the cheating reports on the subreddit turn out to be smurfing report (which we also don't love but its a different issue)
7. FACEIT Limited is based in the UK, none of the data is being shared with Saudi Arabia.
8. We don't spy anyone when they turn on the PC, data is exchanged between the driver and the app only when you have an active protected game session.
9. All the data is transferred and store with encryption. We apply CSLE encryption to all PII data in all of our databases.
!0. We constantly run audits and have a system of internal controls, which include code reviews, testing, pen testing and more.

You are aware that faceit is 'supposedly' working on Faceit anti cheat lite, or so and that theyr working on linux support according to FACEIT Devs?.

Not that I still agree with faceit, I dont, but that supposedly what faceit says.

That's some tinfoil hat conspiracy stuff right there. But I get where your head's at. It would be quite nefarious if the devs of, any game really, supported cheaters on the sly because of bans causing them to repurchase the game. I mean... capitalism, am I right? lol. That said, these devs, the BattleBit devs, haven't seen any Steam money yet. So I don't think that is the case here. Because they are yet to see any profit, outside of Patreon. At least, that is my understanding based on a recent interview with the devs. I would probably have to look for the video of the q&a, but apparently the devs will have to get a loan in the short term to continue operating servers until that steam money comes in.
