Anti-Cheat Update FaceIT not kernel level?
I keep seeing a discussion on the AMA about the move to FaceIT and it being more casual, does this mean it is NOT going to be KERNEL level because the KERNEL level anti-cheats, or anything kernel level, are extremely dangerous and off putting. It will kill this game if that ends up being the case.

Does it matter when Easy Anti Cheat is already kernel level?
Also so is BattleEye

Only cheaters don't want it to be kernel level.

I personally am not fond of having it running always in the background when only one game uses it. (you can "disable" it but does that end resource usage? I'm waiting on that answer from a rep)
At least with the other kernel level ones they have wide adoption so it's not just wasting resources for only 1 game that you might only play a handful of times a year after the initial hype.

If you only going to play it a handful of times a year you might as well uninstall and reinstall every time you use it.

A chrome tab already probably has more resource than this.
You got a problem with the kernel, you got a problem with me pal.

lol ew Chrome.

But yea, it might come to that depending on what the resource usage is looking like and how much it affects start up time. (I try to keep my favorites or my "it's the only one that can scratch that itch"es installed because often by the time downloads finish I've lost the mood)

I wanna fight you. (it's not your fault)
You said BB and my mind went to BattleBorn and for a moment, a very very brief moment, I had hope that game came back.

EAC is kernel level though, so anyone who cared wouldn't have bought this game to begin with (or refunded as soon as they saw EAC)
And FaceIt actually has a more straightforward privacy policy compared to EAC...
