Delivery trucks from farms capacity
So the trucks which deliver the farm products to the warehouse only carry 1 item. This leeds to massive traffic jam with 12+ farms. Is there ANY way to get the trucks to carry more items at a time? Why does the capacity extention for trucks not count to the farm trucks?

I havent played this game for a while, but I think upgrade for truck capacity works only for truck owned by warehouse. This is a reason why you want to have warehouses gathering from nearby plants only and all mid or long distance deliveries you put thru warehouse, either by warehouse trucks or trains or whatever.

Thanks for taking your time to answer but unfortunately you did not read my question.
I already know all you answered. My problem is that the warehouse has only one way in and one out. When now trucks from 12 farmes (each with 5 fields) are trying to deliver stuff it ends in a massive traffic jam. Also one-way roads did not really help as all the trucks bottleneck at the entrance of the warehouse.
So unless I can't get the trucks to carry more than one item at a time or the warehouse gets an update for multiple entrances i might have to built multiple warehouses.
To bad the development for this game was stopped 😞😭

Honestly, this never happened to me. But if this happens to you then you should just un-bottleneck your cluster. Simple way -> instead of using one warehouse for many buildings try to use two. Cost of the warehouse itself - and its operating cost - is not that high really, you can easily use few. If you just spread deliveries two two or three warehouses it should solve the problem. On the other hand, even if you use two or three warhouses in line, for example: first one accepts raw materials, second semi-products, third final products - you may still encounter some jams, but it doesnt matter that much if your entry and exit points are well placed. What I mean is that you can still have well supplied warehouse fully capable of delivering goods wherever needed even if trucks with resources stuck on the roads. Typically the more processed good, the less traffic you will encounter, besides - deliveries done by warehouse are using better trucks, and as a result they create less congestion.

You should build a warehouse near your farms. All farms / factories only use trucks with 1 cargo. Only your warehouses use trucks (and later trains / boats / zeppelins) with larger capacity.

So get your farm stuff to a nearby warehouse and then use that warehouse to supply your factories / other warehouses / farmer's market. If you still get a traffic jam, build 2 warehouses and have 6 farms supply one warehouse and the other 6 farms supply the other warehouse.

Do pay attention on how the trucks will enter and leave the warehouse. You want to minimize crossing.

What also helps is building the irrigation tower. It removes the need to move water to your farms by truck. Do make sure (if possible) that the road from the water source to the irrigation tower is not crossing the road from the farms to the warehouse.

It sounds like you may need to redesign your infrastructure ...

12+ farms is actually a lot of farms. Like ... A LOT. I don't even think I can fit 12 farms in a warehouse radius. I think you're putting too many items into one warehouse.

When I build I tend to separate out the various industries/production lines. So unlike what failsafe suggested, I use a warehouse for a particular line, ie, farm, tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, and a couple of minor farms that supply to a market. If I want to do another line then I use a different warehouse with a different piece of land.

If you really want one MEGA-CENTRE OF PRODUCTION then part of doing that is finding out HOW to do it, and how to squeeze every tiny bit of efficiency out of the road system. I've watched YouTube videos of Cities:Skylines and watched how literal experts on the game solve their traffic problems and it's super ingenious. And I've done it in Rise of Industry, where I've had traffic jams and had to rejiggle the roads a little bit. My current phase is having two concentric road circles around the warehouse which seems to help a lot.

I also try to use one direction roads. But yes, all kinds of road trickery will be necessary.
