As a fun of Industry Giant II should I get it?

I am a big fan of Industry Giant II and I always wanted to play it with better graphics and stuff. Unfortunately, Jowood ripped, so IG3 never happened. I was very hyped about trailer of Rise of Undystry because it was the first game which looks very simular to what IG2 was once. So I am asking, how same it is actually from players who played both games obviously.

IG2 was my main inspiration. Happy to say that I was able to show the game to old JoWood employees at GamesCom, and got their blessing :)

From what I have heard from reviews is this game is better then IG2. This is supposedly the successor to that game Everyone is saying to buy this game now. Jowood was a good company until they were brought out and then after that the bottom fell out.
Now another company did re-release IG2 but without the editor and the game does crash quite often for many people.

The only thing I wish this game had was AI competitors (not just the cities). Any word on if you'll be adding them and if so, when Alex?

You will be your worst enemy. You don't want an AI when you're dealing with other players, traffic or pollution

Then there will be no AI competitors? Can you think about adding them in? I think it would make the game so much more enjoyable and I think other players would think so as well. Personally I don't care about the multiplayer aspect and won't touch it at all, and I know some other people feel the same way. I mean even if it's only a few, I think it would be worthwhile, personally that is.

The AI will get smarter and smarter every update. Very soon it'll act like any other player and you will call it a competitor. Now it's very young

I hope so, I do wish well from this game. Maybe I just feel like I'm lacking. I just did an 2-3h game and basically won (100 million surplus money), I was making brandy + wine and no one else was producing it, so I basically just raked in the money.

Play on Veteran, I doubt you'll do so well with farms :D

I might try that. I can't wait for you to add more challenging aspects as the pollution, advanced city AI & traffic congestion; will be a great game.
