Water Siphon versus Water Well
I can't find any big differences between them but I'm also a newbie. What are their pros and cons against each other?

Trying to figure out if I'm missing something, but I tested in game and in sandbox and it looks like wells and siphons both produce at the same rate? Siphon is also more expensive both in terms of cost and upkeep.

I'm seeing 15 day production time for both well and siphon. Version 131, 1907b.

That is because you enabled the "simplified rate" where all timings are rounded to 15. Siphon takes 10

Oh... I guess normal difficulty has that on by default? I had read about simplified rate in another forum post, but I think it also threw me off because even though it's not production, air purifiers duration is 10 days so I assumed that was off (in addition to being on normal).
