Maybe if there was an option to invite demand in an area. Something that you can create the production line and send proposals to different towns to see if you can snag a contract for that product. This way the town is able to be "forced" to evolve and by attracting the trade, grow new shops and businesses.
For this example I have dispatch & building costs turned off.
I have 38 fried chicken factories that produce 252 fried chicken per year. Fried chicken sells for 113k (per 1 average price) to state (I'm right next to state road). So 113k x 252 is about 28.5 million. Operating expenses (6.5m) and ingredients (1m) come out to 7.5 million and according to the 12 month overview I made 3 million profit. So where exactly did the other 18 million disappear to?
Or...
Rolling chasis, I produced 42 @1.23m) of them that sell for 51m, 430k in ingredients, 19 million in total cost (for some reason not explained in the game), And yet I get negative 2m profit. Why am I in the negatives and where is the other 33m?
This is a component, end game item, shouldn't I be making more off of it then apples and oranges?
Interesting convo @Hade, maybe chuck it up on Bugs & Issues forum with your save file, if product overviews consistently printing wrong numbers then thats definetly a bug or issue ;) so sure Penguin will take a look at it.
Maybe something we are all missing and/or an improvement to be made, he would need a save file to confirm it though.
He is also prob the best dev ive ever had the pleasure to deal with, super quick and helpful, just gota help him see whats happening :)
