GOKEN
Hitching/Stuttering Issue? Help!
I installed the game last night and when walking around the game hitches every 2-3 seconds briefly. I've played a bit more and the game is stuttering a LOT, and when attacking (usinga a360 controller) sometimes I press the button to attack and nothing happens. I've got to press it 4-5 times before the sword swings. 've got a G-Sync monitor, GTX 1080ti video card and i7-3960x CPU 32GB RAM. Any ideas as to what could be the issue? I tried forcing VSYNC on and off and it made no difference. Nothing I've tried has helped? Thanks

I apologize for your inconvinience Simulated Link.

Your build sounds like it shouldn't have any problems running GOKEN... or any game at all really. (1080ti, I'm jealous!)

Combined with the button problem, it does sound like a problem with the game and its memory usage. We'll look into it as soon as we can. :steamfacepalm:

I really like what I have played but I have done even more tinkering and this game stutters constantly. I can run Just Cause 3 and GTAV at max settings locked 60fps smooth as butter. I've got a GSYNC monitor and that isn't even helping. If the developer has no ideas on how to fix this I'm going to have to request a refund. Really sad - seems like a cool game.

I also have a huge stuttering problem 980 with an i7 5820...love the game so far but it's very distracting.
so my story is a bit different with this one, i do not own the game but had to service a computer due to fact that the game was stuttering so bad that they thought their whole computer was messed up on both the computers i serviced this happened, the stuttering seems to start on ethe animation on loading screen and the map scroll lurches forward when the character walks and there seems to be no fix for this on both of his PCs. (core i7, gtx 1080 and core i3 gtx 660ti) both systems experienced the same stutter and both were on windows 10, which i think may ultimately be the issue. I have tried compatability settings, lowering the res, pretty much everything, no luck as of now, i told him to request a refund as he has ver 1.20 and it has made no difference/

I just bought it today, and while I really like the game so far the stutter I'm getting is almost too much. They are just tiny hitches, but they happen every couple seconds. Has anyone found a workaround to this issue? I really don't think it's my computer (Win10, gtx1060, i5, 16gb), so I can only assume it's the game. IDK, but I'm not sure I can keep the game with this issue.

edit: i've went through all the options, unhooked all usb devices, validated files, reinstalled, updated drivers, etc. nothing has worked. this game looks like it was made for me, but unfortunatly i'll have to refund :(

Same here. Computer is above recommended spec. (Win7x64, i7 3770K, 32 GB RAM, 2 x 980Ti), but stuttering occurs every now and then. Not game-breaking, but certainly distracting.

Sorry guys for your troubles...!

I can see the stutter happening and the team has been informed. Keep an eye out for any updates regarding this issue as we are really trying hard to iron this out..!

Don't have any stuttering myself, but the FPS is noticably low for me, it's like the game is running in a slight slow motion. The issues might be related though, I also have a G-sync monitor and GPU, though mine is a GeForce 980.

The game could be described as slow compared to a lot of the fast-pased games nowadays, but that is by intention. If the game still feels oddly slow-paced, that's a problem on the program side seeing as a GTX980 should have more than enough juice. I have reported it in! Thanks for being patient with us guys :(

Well, I grew up with NES and SNES gaming, so I definitively don't find any problems with the gameplay and progression of this game.

To elaborate on my issue: take gameplay videos of this game on youtube and set them to run at 0.75 of the speed, and you get something comparable to what I'm experiencing, except it just affect the animations and flow of the game. It does make it a lot easier to outmanoveur the enemies that way though as the input is still very smooth and responsive.

Thanks for the reply ShadowTani!
We're still working on a fix at the moment. But there might be a workaround for the time being. I'll be posting something in the news shortly so try and see if that helps! If not, we are and will continue to work on the problem! :steamfacepalm:
Even after updating to 1.4.1 the stuttering persists, unfortunately.

[EDIT, 2017-11-07:]
So, are you still trying to fix this?

Stuttering bad here. Alienware 17 R4.. Oddly it didnt stutter the first time I played but seems to get worse the more I play..

GTX-1080ti, i-7 4770 3.40GHz, 16G RAM

This is still happening. Whenever the camera pans the screen jitters. I don't have any input issues. But the stuttering is irritating.

Edit - Just checked the pinned 'Known Issues' post & that helped a lot, but it's still a little stuttery. I'm going to keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the setting. Thanks Kaimer.
