how to delete pixels?
I'm obviously new to Pro Motion NG, and i know about the make background transparent function (by right clicking). my issue is that once i draw new animation frames, i can no longer right click on unwanted pixels to get rid of them. coming from photoshop, i'd love to see an eraser tool just for ease of use/intuitive interface.

Thanks

There are a couple of ways to erase:
1. select the transparent color from the canvas as either first or second drawing color. Hold CTRL and click on a transparent pixel with left or right mouse button.
2. HIt backspace to select the layer's transparent color as second color.
3. Use the "Erase" paint mode
4. Use the eraser of your pen if you use one.

Generally you might want to draw with color A using the left mouse button and color B with the right mouse button. Color B is then either transparent of you draw at the edges ob your graohic object or it's just the color that you want to have at this place instead of A. This way you can quickly use both colors.

Hope this helps.

P.S.: With the next release (and current beta: https://www.cosmigo.com/pixel_animation_software/downloads/beta-version ) you can use P to draw with the second color. Just in case you are usually not using your right mouse button for drawing since Photoshop does not do this.

P.P.S.: You can change all shortcuts to better match your needs.

Despite of that I might include an eraser tool as well, one day :-)

thanks for the detailed response! i managed to delete pixels on different animation layers.
when exporting my gif or animation file, it's very blurry, possibly due to being upscaled. im wondering how i show others my work?

The current software version does not upscale when exporting. Can you attach such a file? Attaching files is easier in the "real" support forum: https://community.cosmigo.com
By the way: the current beta (and so the upcoming release) contains a built in pixel size definition that can be used for "zoomed pixel style" exports.
