Local multiplayer/lan

Hi,

I know the games has local split screen but does it have LAN as in when you hook up a few computers together and play locally against each other on your own pc/monitor screen?

No, it does not, most racing games don't besides Ashpalt 8... lol

Developers! Is there any chance of implementing a patch at some point that installs LAN capability. It's the only thing that's holding me and my group from buying - we run a private friends/family race off sessions but only use LAN racing games - which we have a few, but no NASCAR.

I suggest having a hosted lobby and just letting them join from their computers there, and only set the maximum player count to how many you want. The lobbies don't generally fill up quickly so it should work. I know it's not LAN but i hope I could help!

Thanks for the reply! I'd much rather a proper LAN but as a last resort I'd consider having steam as the master server if the players in our group are peer to peer through the router like Project Cars = no latency or lag as each player's info goes to each other directly through the router so quick - but if it's Steam which controls everything then i think we'd have latency/lag using the same internet from the same router - i think!

I'm no master of internet stuff :)

Neither am I haha. I haven't had much issue with NH2 online but I've never tried having multiple connections on the same connection. I wish you luck!
