its strange because in the protagonists yard there is a box with a vhs player and a vhs tape. also some other props and things in the game were made after 1962. i dont think there is a direct time period. but it must be in the 1900s

well of course it's somewhere in the 1900's there weren't cars in the 1800's

I think it might take place from the late 1960s or to the mid-1970s because I've seen a movie with a similar plot to the game from the late 1960s or early 1970s but also the old car design, the old TVs, the wheel from the alpha 1 cutscene which is also able to be picked up in alpha 2, also the cameras are the BIG ones and not the smaller ones we have today, the odd thing is that there's a Mii reference in act 1 so that's confusing me, also the house design reminds me of the area I live in and it has homes from the 1950s to the 1970s, and that's kind of it, and doesn't have to say too much aside from that the probably takes place around 1968 to 1973 there's also a chance it takes place in the 1980s though.
