At any given time you should be able to find others to play with. Simply start a game and it will either auto-join you into an existing game, or start a new one that someone else can join.

If you are the first player to create the game your best option is to wait with the game open so others join in.

We just pushed an update that fixes the In App Purchase bug and the fight/flee bug in Trivia Royale Mode.

If you purchased the upgrade (Thank you!!) you should see everything unlock the next time you log in. If you still have issues just respond in the thread and we'll help you out.

What an amazing day 1 of VR Trivia Battle! We had tons of games going all day and night.

If you upgraded to the full version thank you!!! That means the world to us.

Some people are reporting that they purchased the upgrade but it didn't unlock in game. If that happened to you, just send us an email at hello@RLTYCHK.co with your Steam receipt and we'll manually upgrade you. We'll have a hot fix for this out soon.

In the first of its kind experience, up to 8 players compete in the ultimate trivia showdown. VR Trivia Battle is free to play with a $7.99 in-app purchase that unlocks exclusive avatars and over 10,000 new trivia questions.

Formally known as Kiss or Kill, VR Trivia Battle has been showcased at GDC, SIGGRAPH, VRLA and First Look. VR Trivia Battle is also available at VR arcades across North America.

As you may have noticed, we have been quiet on Discord the past few months as we work hard on the Early Access version. Thanks to some great new partnerships we have added three months of development and are targeting an early October release.

Kiss or Kill: Trivia Royale is now up on the primary channel, ready for up to 8 players! Try out this new mode before it hits VR Arcades across the world.

We just wrapped up a big update. It’s now live on Steam and the Oculus store! Our next tournament is coming up on February 10th, and in preparation we’ll be bringing in another batch of players. If you have a friend that you’d like to play with, DM me and I’ll send you a key.

Quick start
* Easily jump into a 2 player game by clicking Quick Start. If there’s an open game you will automatically join it
* This is now the default and preferred way to start a game, previous method still available under “Current games”

Trivia Royale
* Refines and flow updates to Trivia Royale mode
* Score board visible at all times
* Timer and number of questions visible
* All three power ups available (one use each, each round)

New game start and mini game practice
* While waiting for a second player you can play the tutorial or practice mini games (finally!)

Discord notifications
* If a player waits longer than 20 seconds for a second player, we will automatically post to Discord letting you all know there’s a player ready for a game
* When you see these notifications, feel free to jump into the game by using Quick Start
* These will post to #General for now, if it gets annoying we’ll change it
* We’ll be adding more Discord integrations soon

New track pad / d stick selection
* We’ve changed how answer selection works so it’s easier and much more natural
* Give it a try and let us know what you think!

First time player updates
* Our friendly new producer will guide new players through their first game and tell returning players about major updates

VR Keyboard
* First time players no longer need to use a physical keyboard to enter their email address

UI Refinements
* Fixed more of the UI clunkiness

Updated shaders
* New shaders to increase game performance in preparation for 3DOF headset support (coming soon!)

Tournament Update
* Our next tournament is scheduled for February 10th, stay tuned for more info!

1/25 - Build 1.0.148 - Royale Update
- Introducing Trivia Royale (alpha)
* 3-8 players compete in a single elimination ultra intensity showdown.
* This game mode is still very new, but as always we like to release early and get you all playing. * Trivia Royale requires a human host, and for now only devs can create Trivia Royale games. We’ll be hosting these at our set play time (currently 5pm PST).
* This version of Trivia Royale has a lot of updates based on everyones feedback. Thank you, and keep it coming!
