enchanting table

I have not played for around 6 months and I know there has been allot of changes. Could someone please tell me how the enchanting table works now? I have no recipes that show. The only thing I can do is use the light option. How do I spend an enchantment point. I have checked everywhere and can't find any information on the subject. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

You start with the Light enchant only. Put a common weapon, tool, or armor into the table and you should be able to enchant it with light. I think it takes 3 initial enchants before you get a level up and can use that to unlock other enchants. You can put 2 enchants on an uncommon item and 3 on a rare ect. The more enchanting you do the more skill you'll get the more points you can spend.

when do the recipes appear. I have done around ten enchantments with light but no recipes ever appear in any of the abilities?

Go to Skills tab, then Crafting and then Enchanting and add points there.

Once you have spent points they show up if you click All at the top of the list.
