How do you get Essence of Fire

I have been looking for Essence of Fire and for some odd reason I cannot find it. Does anyone know where I can find it?

The information I got was that you could get it from the enemies in the fire caves, however I cannot confirm that as all of the essences I got were from the Imp enemies, specifically the ones inside of the towers.

Fire Cave monsters (hounds and golems) and imps can all drop the Essence of Fire.

It's not a common drop from any of 'em though, so it may be necessary to do a lotta killing to get one.

P/S: I'm also pretty sure (based on my own experience) that the 'Champion' variant of each of the aforementioned mob types has a higher chance of dropping those essences - so when you see one of 'em that's noticeably bigger than the others, cross your fingers. 🤞
