Where to find Lemons?

I remember finding lemons on a tree near the start, but I have not seen a single other lemon tree in game, let alone past tier 0.

Lemon trees are around, but they blend in with the rest of the trees so that they are not so easy to spot sometimes. One tip I would give you is, when you have a lemon or two in your inventory, use them for seeds and plant a few lemon trees close to your base. That way, fresh lemons whenever you want them. ) You need to terraform a small area to make it flat, hoe the ground and then you can plant the lemon seeds (or whatever other seeds you want to farm.) Don't forget to water...

Fruit trees are also quite a bit smaller than other trees, and they only spawn in the grass biome. If you find an area with a lot of trees try to spot one with branches lower than the rest and check it out.

Eventually found one orange and one lemon tree, but god that search for just a fruit had me winded. Part of me loves the scope possible, but the more I play the more I wonder if there's a possibility we'll get "biome size" sliders or something similar to control scaling

best part was then I ran into a cave and died in lava
can't even be mad about dying in lava tbh
