I know my mp3s work not sure about others although I wouldn't bet on it
Itunes uses AAC if i'm not mistaken. You'll have to decode them into MP3.
More like Transcoding, quality will suffer in the .mp3 version and in games like this it still matters. Tracks in Audiosurf can be more than just "noticeably" different when you use poor quality rips and transcoded files.
If they had a Lossless format it would be OK. But i can only suggest buying/finding the music you want in the correct format.
