Crashing at "Verifying Login Server" Screen
Played the game in offline Mode after Server went down for Patch 1.0.0.5.

Now after trying the start the game, i will get a crash to desktop from the very first game screen "Verifying Login Server".

Windows and GPU Drivers are up-to-date. Reinstalled the game several times, including deletion of config files. Checked Firewall and Anti-Virus.

Thank you for the detailed reported!

Could you please try deleting the contents of %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\GameRiver\Mechabellum (you can copy-paste this into the File Explorer) while the game is not running and let me know if this resolves the issue for you? It does not have any downsides (you're not losing any progress/etc).

Just had this same problem (on proton after driver update) and deleting the contents of %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\GameRiver\Mechabellum fixed it for me, thanks!
