I never play anything else. For over a year now.
From the game modes it is much more than multiplayer, because you can play every mode also against bots.
But most players enjoy playing against other players more than playing against AI.
You can theoretically play against bots forever but it wont be fun. The bots dont use good technology loadouts or respond well to intelligent strategy.
Then again players are often not fun to play either because they do all the lame tactics to win.
This is not a single player game !
1v1 vs bots in normal mode is about 2-3h of fun and then you will win every game always
then there is another AI mode that is called survival and that i only played 1 time and decided its not worth my time.
you get random enemy units every round and need to find a comp against it.
Some people enjoy it but for me 1 game was enough to decide i dont want to face completely different random units every single round
However 1v1 multiplayer i have ~ 200h now
Survivalmode in it's current state: I would'nt recommend such mode for someone who only wants to play Singleplayer. Just because it's a mode in which you really benefit from your PvP experiences and is'nt that super fun to play aswell. It's more like a Hardcore mode for those who wanna make a break from fighting people by dealing with a super challenge in which you apply all your knowledge.
So, Yes. Tiny portion Singleplayer Content. If youre still unsure, Just for your knowledge: This game will be Free to Play probably somewhere middle-middle-end this year.
But anyway this game gets F2P in near future if youre unsure.
They recently revamped survival mode. It's a lot more fun now and extremely hard. You could put 100 hours into it and not beat Insane IV.
So it just depends on how much you like survival mode.
There is also community challenges. Hundreds of them and more being added.
Plus the typical 1v1 bot, i'd say there is a lot of content here for $15.
