Which is stupid because they clearly lied when they said 3 weeks.
Just another indication the Devs are lost in development.
but as it is now its just ass.
like by round 5 having the choice of a single giant/2 t2 units/1 lvl2 t3 unit/4 chaff units
would be better then 3 GIANTS/ 7 RHINOS/ 3 LVL 3 HACKERS/ 4 LVL 2 STEEL BALLS
ALL FOR FREE. OR EVEN BETTER SELL ONE AND MAKE MONEY
like wtf lol. i guess maybe they thought it sounds fun but its really not. not for me at least
I am not sure how long the game will survive with a toxic community if your attitude is something to base the players that stay on.
I would have had full understanding for this type of behavior if you acted like this towards Paradox for the launch of City Skylines 2, CA for Warhammer 3 or whatever mess Vampire the Masquerade 2 is shaping up to be. Big corpos screwing everyone over with rushed launches, extremely greedy business practices and just generally treating their consumers like dirt, raping beloved franchises, etc. Go all out, they deserve it, their creative vision is bankrupt and entirely driven by profit, since they don't have any vision of their own the next best thing is to listen to the fans who have experience with the franchise.
But this is the first game out of an indie-studio and it's actually extremely good, it's dirt-cheap and they have more frequent updates and better community engagement than most AAA studios. They haven't even done anything wrong just testing and adding some features during early access which is exactly the time to do these types of tests. Medicus has made like 5+ threads since the patch hit with the intent to rile up negative engagement, it's just extremely poor conduct. Say your peace and leave, there is no reason to try and destroy a small studio making their first game, with their own original ip, the way they want to even if you don't agree with their direction.
