4 days "chaotic fun" left
Soon, sooon it is over. Just a few days more and all toxic discussions, playing other games, not making videos, all will be over :-) I am looking forward playing mechabellum again. Hopefully the next patch will be less "fun".

Medicus I think we willl have to wait for the end of of february before this is changed. They said the next patch will be end of february. Sadly..
Perplex Feb 17, 2024 @ 7:44am
According to their Q&A it does not seem they will remove it.

End of February seems like this is the only realistic time-frame.

Which is stupid because they clearly lied when they said 3 weeks.

Just another indication the Devs are lost in development.

Well then another 2 weeks losing players and negative reviews :-(
Takyy69 Feb 17, 2024 @ 4:28pm
The 3 weeks thing was just something the devs said to stop criticism. They never planned to revert the changes at all. They will probably tweak the unit cards some more, but removing them completely wont happen.

if its toned down enough it wont be so bad.
but as it is now its just ass.
like by round 5 having the choice of a single giant/2 t2 units/1 lvl2 t3 unit/4 chaff units
would be better then 3 GIANTS/ 7 RHINOS/ 3 LVL 3 HACKERS/ 4 LVL 2 STEEL BALLS
ALL FOR FREE. OR EVEN BETTER SELL ONE AND MAKE MONEY
like wtf lol. i guess maybe they thought it sounds fun but its really not. not for me at least

I hate them, but maybe if they are toned down enough I will play again. Right now... no thanks.

IF that is the case then I am probably out for good like many others.

Good riddance! The competitive audience will stay and the game will keep getting better, noobs come and go, such is life.

I am not sure how long the game will survive with a toxic community if your attitude is something to base the players that stay on.

It will survive far longer with a respectful community that understands and appreciates the devs vision rather than an entitled community that celebrates negative reviews and tries to strong-arm the devs into doing their bidding.

I would have had full understanding for this type of behavior if you acted like this towards Paradox for the launch of City Skylines 2, CA for Warhammer 3 or whatever mess Vampire the Masquerade 2 is shaping up to be. Big corpos screwing everyone over with rushed launches, extremely greedy business practices and just generally treating their consumers like dirt, raping beloved franchises, etc. Go all out, they deserve it, their creative vision is bankrupt and entirely driven by profit, since they don't have any vision of their own the next best thing is to listen to the fans who have experience with the franchise.

But this is the first game out of an indie-studio and it's actually extremely good, it's dirt-cheap and they have more frequent updates and better community engagement than most AAA studios. They haven't even done anything wrong just testing and adding some features during early access which is exactly the time to do these types of tests. Medicus has made like 5+ threads since the patch hit with the intent to rile up negative engagement, it's just extremely poor conduct. Say your peace and leave, there is no reason to try and destroy a small studio making their first game, with their own original ip, the way they want to even if you don't agree with their direction.

Well said

It's not going anywhere. There are a vocal minority that complains but the vast majority think its great. Hope you enjoy whatever else you were doing because looks you will still be doing it.

Do you have evidence that the "vast majority think its great"?
