So now i will become Master just becouse i play a lot...
I have Diamond already, but man... it just feel weightless to gain titles in a system where u cannot lose Combat Power.

The titles should be MMR based, not a score that only goes up... It shows NOTHING about a players skill , only about the gametime.... very sad.

I agree that the "league" titles, like Diamond, Platinum, etc, should probably be tied to MMR, and future seasons may change how these are earned. The first season was new ground for the game and a good opportunity for the developers to gather feedback and take inspiration from it.

If you're in the top-200 on the Combat Power leaderboard (world), you can still lose Combat Power, which retains the competitive aspects of that leaderboard and, by extension, the Grandmaster title. It's not attainable if you're not in the top-200.

Below the top-200, the Combat Power loss was removed to allow more players to unlock the seasonal cosmetic rewards. This has been a frequent suggestion here, on the Discord and on Reddit. Losing "battle pass" progression was counter-intuitive to what players were used to from other games, which I feel was a valid complaint.

Only in 1v1. In FFA you wont lose CP even if you are top 200. (Unless it is only world and not region)

It's the top-200 (combat power) on the world-wide leaderboard, not division.

I know these and i agree with the rewards - but not the TITLES. Titles should be earned by hard work, not with a lot of free time.... Its surreal, that i am close to Master... and I KNOW that iam far from that skill.

I honestly don't understand why the devs are so attached to the Combat Power thing at all. There should be MMR used for all things related to ranking and MM, and seasonal points for unlocking rewards that can never be lost. That's it.

Bro, i have 800 hours in the game. Yet i have NO CLUE why combat power exists at all.

Because many cosmetic awards are tied to Combat Power, I'm totally fine with it. I'm casual player and I just want that Venom skin. I'm glad the devs aren't keeping cosmetics behind the skill barrier.

But yeah, league titles should be MMR based.
