Sometimes it can help to switch over to 2v2 for a bit, you'll see different plays, your luck (good and bad) will be moderated by having another player, and it favors longer matches so it can give you time to work on counters to plays that'd be game over in 1v1.
don't let it get you down!
I just try to find one or two things in every lost game that I could have done differently, so even if I lost the game, there is also something is gained from it.
Like 8-but Cavalry suggested, I also switch it up with 2v2. Mostly with random partners, which can come with frustrations of its own (you can win your side every time and still lose the game), but 2v2 feels much less "direct" to me, and that makes it more relaxing. I'm also less attached to the outcome of 2v2 games.
The opponents get easier if you lose a bunch, so there's that too!
After that
- played survival and FFA only about a week.
- watched few guides
- read all unit guides provided by RAT
- re-though my general strategy
- made a templata strategy for most common unit boards
- trained it against bots
Now 3 loss in row is maximum for me.
Sometimes it is some metas to which you have no answer. The best thing for me when this happens is to save the replay and try alternatives. Sometimes it is impossiblet to win in the last round, but you can go back one round at a time and see where you could have turned the game around. This allows you to attempt new ideas.
You can also experiment in teh training grounds.
I would love to be able to save a round in the replay and load it into the training grounds, though, because this allows for even more tests against a real composition without having to manually place it.
