Mechabellum on Mac M1: works under Whisky

Not official of course, and I haven't thoroughly tested this, but...

For those frustrated by Mechabellum being listed as a Mac game when the app just points to an obviously-for-Windows .exe file and really wanting to play on Mac, read on:

1. Visit and follow the instructions to install Whisky (built on WINE, a Windows API translation layer (not emulator) developing for decades): https://docs.getwhisky.app/

2. In your Whisky bottle, install Steam for Windows (not for Mac!) and login to Steam.

3. Using Steam for Windows running on Whisky on your Mac, install Mechabellum.

4. Play Mechabellum via Whisky on your Mac!

I haven't tried multiplayer yet, but lobby messages are visible, so at least that much networking works.

And I finished a solo game with no issues AFAICT on my 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Max (10 core CPU, 24 core GPU), 32GB RAM, running MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 and Whisky 2.3.4. Runs smooth as silk! :-)
