Make Hide Chat Window Permanent

Why does hide chat window have to be enabled EVERY session? What is the point of this except to annoy users? Blows my mind you can only hide it for one session. Please fix this nonsense.

- In every and any online game if/when I am "forced" to play competitive against a human opponent I auto-deactivate chat AND emotes, cause both are only there in 99.99% of the cases for toxic trolling/bullying and taunting - and only rarely for something creative/positive....

- As a sidenote IMHO: also saying "GG" can be highly controversial in many situations and I will certainly know when it was a "good game" or not without anybody confirming it/rubbing it under my nose .... :D

- An option to permanently disable chat and emotes would be cool (let the opponent spam all they want if I can't see it anyways)....

- Maybe an automated message could inform the opponent tho that I (the other player) ha(s)ve chat and/or emotes disabled, so all their efforts to troll are absolutely en vain..... pointless .... futile ......

Tbh I think the chat position is plain dumb. Straight in the middle of the screen and clips through every menus. The chat box really needs rework imo. IDk how this was approved to be in the 1.0 build.

Agree. I wish i could hide chat and keep it hidden until i manually turn it on.

Maybe even add shortcut key. So with one key push i can turn chat on/off

I like this idea, but definitely need a way to hide permanently if desired.

Love this game. Don't even mind chatting. Awful placement. And maybe it's just me, but it seems like if I hover over the bottom of the screen for a nano second too long it immediately thinks I want to use the chat and places the cursor in the chat box. I have to exit out of chat CONSTANTLY. Which is extra annoying when I'm trying to use WASD to move the camera.

Agree with this also. Bad placement and bad idea to make us hide it every session.
