Arti-Sel needs an award from the devs

He embodies the troll aspects of the new gamemode and direction they clearly want to go in, so he should be rewarded with some kind of badge or something.

Got the joy of playing a game with him in 4v4.
I kinda messed up my game early since I had a plan to go forts and some other stuff, but had none of the key units starting out, so was a few turns behind but figured would try it anyway as it often gets rolling late anyway( had 3-4 games with forts lose every round until 9 and 10 then win hard when it all comes online).

But Arti-Sel? he has a plan too. Im on his left, goes replicate crawlers and balls. Guy on his right starts going boats early on. What does he do? other than a couple mustangs goes all in on balls.crawlers and rushes in blowing me up every round.
Completely ignores the boat player - who starts winning.

Vulcans drop at one point, and im forced to take them to try and deal with the crawler spam - so Arti goes rhinos and techs them too and rushes me harder, blowing up the vulcans also.
Player across and to my left already has hackers going - so rhinos are a really stupid play.
Balls/crawlers/rhinos also dont shoot up - so it is also a stupid play to keep losing on that side.
In fact after killing my stuff all his stuff immediately dies to the other players. But round after round just keeps going all in.

No one can be THAT stupid, as much as he tries - it was just a 100% blatant attempt to make sure that I lose no matter what - because his comp had zero chance of winning. All he cared about was making sure I lost. And of course the boat player wins big at the end.

This is what the devs want? - and this guy embodies the worst aspects of behaviour that is a great match for the game direction. So give the man an award. And a slow clap for being so awesome.

Lol, you took that personally? I remember that game, specifically because you whined at the end of it out of nowhere. I didn't pick that specifically to mess with you, it's just fun going speedy bois sometimes. I had speed tech with balls/crawler as a start, so I continued to pick up speedy units because it's good eco. I needed the rhinos to soak up a few hits on the round they dropped, they are good tanks for the mustangs and if hackers take em I had a layer of balls to clean up with.

Honestly I don't remember you enough to recognize you ingame, it was just a pretty normal game. I mostly remember being surprised that you got mad in the end, but you didn't say anything at all until you lost with 0 points. However bad you think my build was it did better than you in that game.

I didn't even particularly focus him, he just got mad that I built upgraded crawlers with replicate

I think what he is really telling us, is that he is upset that Artisel did not love him as he expected, that he's having some homoerotic thoughts and he's a bit ashamed of himself. You know complaining about Artisel's balls and that he took him like a Rhino when he thought he would be more like a Mustang blowing not only him up but also their overlord.

But at the same time he's been flirting with Artisel on the forum for a while apparently and from what I can see those two have an history (and one of them, might be unwilling, not sure yet), begging for his attention since times immemorial, and now that he got it, he's disappointed it was not what he idealized for so long.

After all, it is true if you go to a gangbang and only get soloed, it might be disheartening.

Truly special indeed.

New mode is awesome, and if you don't like it you can still 1v1/2v2. Devs can experiment with new modes and try to make "fun" new things...get over yourself.
