Mechabellum

Mechabellum

portable or controller support please
I really like this game and me and my lady have both computers and handheld computers like the Legion Go and Steam deck OLED and we like the game but really wish it was something we could play together on the go on road trips or in a hotel bedside. or if thats not possible can we at least get xbox controller support ? i dont think that is asking for to much

Are you in the wrong discussion board? This one is for Mechabellum, an luck based autobattler where the developer needs month's to implement a sound near turns end.

Its very easy to play this game with a controller. you just must be willing to put in the time to make costum bindings with Steams controller settings.
here is a video that will help you get a start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_1z9OG_6mw
I also play this quite often in bed in the mornings and night using the Steamdeck. works very well.

for a game like this just use steam config for controller. i played hundreds of hours with controller in this game.

All of my playtime in the game is on steam deck. It was a bit of a hassle getting it all setup at first but now it works well.

I use the controllers gyro (motion sense) to control the mouse for unit placement. That’s radically easier than doing it awkwardly with thumb sticks emulating a mouse pointer.

The game "works" on the Steam Deck to a degree but the UI needs scaling and in addition to that needs someone to work out the nitty gritty of the controls. That said I can still play on it, just not as comfy as I'd want it to be and I dont have time to go in and make a custom control.
