EDIT: If you don't want your army to get split up by this, position more aggressively and/or use mobile beacon for the affected units (beacon is the "dont be stupid" control feature you asked for).
The mainproblem is its way to costeffective. 1 crawler for 100 has to much impact there.
A simple Arc can clear it but he takes way to long. Even a rocket sometimes leaves 1-2 crawlers alive and the army still moves there. Every reaction to this cost more than the fire and forgett crawlers.
I feel this should be punished in any way. Its to simple and imo ugly gameplay. Also its meta. You see this in every second game in average. Even last round as finisher.

Pulling your opponent's units where you want them is a primary mechanic of the game.

1x Firebadger
1x Phoenix
(1x Mustangs added one round later)
Any idea how to counter this fast and efficiently?
