A bunch of well-placed shields turn them intro potatoes. They can`t deal with Rinoh till overfeed and overteched, so its an option. Scorpions can snipe them. They are super vulnerable against EMP.
and instead of being all they will just counter my counters. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ counter their counters to your counter. its not over cause they placed a melting point or killed your fort with something pay attention and look at why they killed it or if you should have even placed one. or should you have placed it as a lvl 2.
identify what you need to win which is in this case arcs need to die so whats keeping you from doing that?
this is perfect advice try it find out what makes it weak. if they are rocking 4 or more arcs round 2 buy a fort turn 3. key is to shut it down as soon as possible if ya wait till they have all level 3 arcs you done in at that point. you dont even really need forts storms can shut it down too. just a little bit of splash damage and emp can work wonders. especial against a very tech reliant unit
But yeah those were pretty high level.
Especially with some lucky cards (i member lvl 8 arclights with +17% hp from comms, +100 % heavy Arcs from cards, +30% to all from cards and + building upgrade stuff got more hp /dmg / range/ aoe / rate of fire then enemy lvl 3 fortressess). Depressing and hillarious.
I think maybe (one of those) 1) Elite marksman or dmg upgrade should increase reload time. 2) Projectile should not be a heatscan and lose velocity / dmg the further it travels 3) Heavy arclight should increase the cost? I mean its lowering the range by 20% but 2 lvls mitigate it completly. 4) dmg upgrade reduces aoe coz it makes arclight viable vs everything ground.
and Arcs can lvl up every round. Even if they lose a round ravaging few tanks, crawlers, balls and others will get them enough exp to start the arctide. Or godforbid they break through R1 to kill the building.
I see a good amount of people having anti air tech on arc light, me included. Also, if someone goes heavy on arcs on purpose, they probably do as well or have another defense option for that planned.
I don't know, I don't really see the problem other than as outlined earlier, maybe the cards and upgrade synergy is a bit too powerful. That seems possible.
