Counter to Steel Ball + Fang + Marksmen
I am seeing literally zero way to counter this combination of units. The closest I've gotten is by spamming Vulcans with the damage + range upgrades, but that doesn't help when the opponent already has a massive amount of anti-chaff and Marksmen.

fangs cant kill them fast you can put them 3 at a time and both marksman and balls are terrible vs them so only fangs could stop them but they need to be lvl or 2 higher than them or have techs
Yeah I know, I would have had to have gone very heavy into Crawlers, but once I did that, my entire army would be rendered useless by a Vulcan or two.

You're using fancy words but I don't think you know what those words mean, otherwise you'd realize they don't apply here.
cog·ni·tive dis·so·nance
/ˈkäɡnədiv ˈdisənəns/
nounPSYCHOLOGY
the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.

Sounds pretty spot on so far

My thoughts have been extremely consistent all the way through. Also, you’ve yet to answer my question about where I said anything about what you accused me of saying.

Well, general questions get general answers, that's the essence of what I was saying. Without seeing your actual battles we cannot give any sound advice.

About MMR, we ALL lost tons of MMR but certainly not due to specific units, we lost it due to the way MMR is now calculated. The main culprit here being that we now lose tons of points when losing to a player below our own MMR but don't get much if we beat them. Also, most players actually improved their game. Gone are the days where you mainly meet players without any clue.
Nevertheless, 300 something is still beginner level. And regardless where "beginner" starts, be it 300 or 700, my point was that it isn't due to units. When you constantly make mistakes in other areas, it doesn't matter what the actual balance is, you'll go down the ladder. The game could be perfectly balanced and you would still blame it on whatever unit the opponent used the most or the unit you personally have the biggest problems with.

While I realize that my comment doesn't help directly, I know that suggesting units to counter your problem doesn't help either because that doesn't account for all the other reasons you lose. And knowing you from the past I also know that talking to you is a lost case in either way. My comment above was more of a general statement for anyone else - do not focus on units alone. Reducing this game to direct unit counters only creates more problems - ultimately you'll never progress, but at the same time, balancing is blamed, changes are demanded and so on, all based on not understanding the game. It's an issue that increasingly plagues this and other games, ruining it in some cases.
Believe me or not, but my comment was not about YOU. You are a lost case.

I totally aggree.

But in my first games I also wondering that some player may be cheating because the have used abilitys which I didn´t know that they even exists. Like the atomic bomb in the tower in the "old days".

not really 2 rounds into cravlers so 4 - 6 units then wasp if fangs die they have no AA + your own snipers if enemy play vulcan then malting points + range + beam dispersion that will help both vulcans and most of the chaff also hakers if you have hakers balls will turn over to you (so either mp or hakers)

I never use the beam dispersion on the MP, although I probably should start.

Storms do not counter Steel Balls due to their high speed.
