Have a good time somewhere else.
because all your suggested nerfs would make the spam of any other giant unit more viable and would need to be applied to all giant units not just melting points.
otherwise people would just move on to the next version giant spam and you would complain about that too. unless thats what your already doing.
like everything else they are really good at what they do and thats single target elimination so if you have alot of high hp single targets and cant defend your chaff or you dont have enough. its gonna slap theres a reason why everyone runs mothership on overlords
ANY unit you put down in triples to counter a player that relies heavily on a specific unit/strategy will crush that opponent for obvious reasons. It would be strange if it wouldn't. The probleme here seems to be lack of diversification in your build or to be a case of resting too much on your laurels while the game seems to be heading in your favour. Probably both.
But taking a break after 175 hours seems like a good thing to do. I am currently doing the same after 75 hours pre-release + an about the same amount in beta. not because the game is bad or broken (aside from the ranking but I don't care for ranks), Mechabellum is just too small and repetitive to be continously played for hundreds of hours. Currently it's Rimworld where I spent hours. Mechabellum is a game to fire up once a while for a few short games now. And that's perfectly okay.

Ultimately MPs suck against overlords because they rely heavily on upgrades, and overlords will quickly scale to spawning EMP wasps. There's a very hard time limit on the matchup
