The speed and scale of everything is slightly off and this makes kiting enemies much easier. and completely changes the balance of the combat.
Certain enemies have either been nerfed heavily or not ported correctly: Compare the clumsy movement of Hunters and Suppressors in the remaster to the original.
Suppressors were probably the most dangerous enemy in the original, in the remaster they spend most of their time flying straight into walls or turning in place. There's even a level where you are fighting dozens of them at the time, in the original this would have been almost impossible, where as in the remaster it's a total cakewalk. On top of this their Trojax damage have been nerfed into the ground (just like the player Trojax :) ), making them a complete non-threat.
The remaster has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like halftracks firing Solaris missiles instead of the homing photon things turrets fire, these are mostly dangerous since the visuals are implemented so poorly making the tiny rockets almost invisible at times.
This is coming off very negative. I think the remaster is okay, I just wish they would have gotten the details right and kept off messing with balance and existing behaviour so much.
