AMD HD7570M, Ubuntu (and every other distro of linux i've tried, which is 13 of them) 20.04, when running this on the OpenGL renderer; smoke, particle effects (such as the sus gun shots) blend out to a white colored alpha, instead of the original intended color (smoke can be black brown, sus gun shots have red alpha transparency.)

As my gpu does not support Vulkan, I cannot test that, but I would assume there's something going on with alpha blending with pre-GCN gpus in this game (which are locked to openGL 3.1-3.3 by MESA).

Note that on Windows 10 using the dx11 renderer, this issue is not exhibited at all.

After reaching certain stage on the "Capsized Ship" mission, whenever I try to save the game it just crashes on both Ubuntu and Windows platforms.
I have reinstalled the game on Ubuntu but it didn't help - it just kept crashing. Then I have also installed a game on Windows thinking that crash must be platform related but the game kept crashing just the same way - whenever I try to save the progress the game is just crashing.

I can't change to windowed mode, I have tried all 3 API (RTX 3070m)
It just says "windowed mode exception caught in main" when I press apply.
You are asking for bug reports for 4 years.. why isn't something so simple fixed?
Just tell me now whether I should return it and play the original in Duckstation upscaled to 1440P.

Just tell me now whether I should return it and play the original in Duckstation upscaled to 1440P.
Don't click apply. Simply change the setting and close/restart the game to apply it. This is a much older codebase that didn't handle video resets at runtime particularly well.

Scratch that, Vulkan has issues like checkmarks not appearing in boxes.. I went back to DX10/11 and seems ok.
The twin stick control for controller people like me feels good.
Will be having some fun!

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to add this, but I just purchased this game and, when playing on a M1 Mac and attempting to use a PS5 controller the game just ignores the controller or outright crashes upon starting.

Any chances I can get any support for this at this point? Thanks!

Linux user, running Mint (Ubuntu based). Game doesn't launch from the Steam interface (I'm running Big Picture mode, in case it matters). It prepares, but immediately closes. When I run the executable directly from the installation folder, the game works fine.

Similar issue on the Steam Deck, although I haven't tried to go to desktop mode and launch directly from there.

Can any one tell me how to open the first hidden door to get the Titan in the starting level Entering the Vulcano?
I succeded once so I know where it is but can't open it again.

You need to avoid shooting a certain panel at the end of a hallway before reaching the room with the Titan. Shooting the panel closes the door, but most people shoot it.

This need the option to change the music in levels, like the N64 port, also with the N64 version of the songs. Im havin problems loading my savegame on some levels or circunstances, i dont know why. I think this needs the option to play with the CPU in multiplayer like the battle mode on N64 with all the bikers, plus a boss rush mode like the last level on N64 port (Babalas).

Save system doesn't work.
I've tried to save, but everytimes I click save or try to quicksave nothing happens.
No saves appear when I try to load one.

However, when I go to the saves folder, the quicksave file & other files are there, for some reason, the game can't load them.

Despite this,everything else work fine, all the unlocks are kept etc.

Something I noticed today while in singleplayer mode.

After laying a PineMine in Orbital Space Station, I pressed the 'F' key to activate the bikers headlights (I was in the dark teleport room, visible through a glass panel at the start of the level)
However this caused the PineMine to emit light, instead of the biker.
Destroying the PineMine caused the headlight glow to move back to the biker.

Certainly nothing game-breaking or critical importance. But noteworthy.
