Just curious: it seems like jobs_enable is now disabled (0) by default? And I don't seem to be able to enable it / set it to 1. Was this indeed changed? No actual problem, the game runs flawlessly with it set to 0, it's just that I had to set it manually each time previously.

My game won't launch. It goes through Steam's Preparing to Launch then nothing. This is the only game in my library that is doing this. I have already tried updating my windows and uninstalling the game.

Launch the games executable directly from its folder, does an error message pop up, and if so what is it?

selkis_x64.exe - System Error
The code execution cannot proceed because the vulkan-1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

After update yesterday i have the same problem game can´t start.

The problem come from that the game can not write to C:\user\<username>\Appda\Roaming\Forsaken EX\

That mean no folders or files are created in Forsaken EX what mean the game can´t go back to DX11 and will try to start in vulkan all time.

My pc gpu is not vulkan ready thats why it don´t will start I think.

It´s by the way the only game how have ths issue all other games by Nightdive work fine "systemshock" Turok" Turok2"

Hi, i had problem with the saving because the ASCI characters. The game was giving me an error before the patch. Now it just doesn't save. I go to the menu --> save game --> click on the slots but nothing happens. Same with the quicksave option.

You're missing the vulkan runtime. Try updating your graphics drivers first, even if your GPU doesn't support it, it's possible they'll provide it anyway. If not we'll need to find a more drastic solution.

And no save file is present if you click load after?

I feel stupid. I updated my graphics drivers and it started working again. Forgot to do that. Was odd though because the game was working fine till today.

Found another bug: Somehow, you still take some damage when you have Chaos Shield equipped, this is how it happened during the level Fishy and I had to have this crystal that is guarded by trails of fire which can kill you if you are low on shields and hull, even with the Chaos Shield equipped.

And another bug I discovered, which is in the Old Power Station: The other two secrets found in the game do not register as legit secrets, and upon completion of the level, these two secrets didn't count, and only shows 1 out of 3 secrets even though I did find the two secrets.

with secret do you have discovert Razorblade1812 ? I have discoverd the "secret power-Pod, the Resnic-Reanimator and the golden Power-Pod and only two counts on the Levelfinishingscreen.

I've encountered a problem loading my savegames - I get a warning "KPF used in save does not match currently loaded KPF hash. Loading it could result in unexpected behavior. Continue?"

If I click yes the game freezes - so I'm unable to continue from where I left off.

This is on Windows 10 Pro, i7 2600k, GTX 1070.

The save file is from a different version, as it explains, and thus it can't always be loaded. You can always restart the level from the beginning.
Send us the save file however. You'll find it in %appdata%/Nightdive Studios/Forsaken Ex/saves/.

There is no way i have installed the newest driver how is avalibel and this driver is from 2013.
My GPU is a ATI Mobility HD2600XT.
