It's Korean folklore Hollow Knight. That's really the long and short of it. I actually think its a competent metroidvania, which is an impressive feat in itself. The indie scene is filled with them but many are just awful.

I won't say it is the best I've ever played, but its actually far better than I expected it to be. Would recommend if you're after a decent metroidvania.

Beautiful art style and fun to play

Fun game. Good platforming and exploration. Has interesting characters and challenging boss battles.

Hidden gem.

At first I was certain I was going to write a negative review about this game, but I stuck with it and ended up loving it. It's definitely rough and the first few areas seem a bit uninspired with the level design. If I were to guess, the devs weren't too sure on how to design areas where you have no or limited abilities. However, it eventually picks up a lot. What it lacks in technical design, it makes up for it in art style, aesthetic and especially soul. At the end of it, I feel like I went through a high stakes adventure through purgatory with my frog homie Ducroak. If you're a big Metroidvania fan and you've done all the most well known ones on Steam then I would recommend giving this one a try.

Great game. Really tight controls, fun enemies with lots of secrets, not to mention beautiful art design. If you like these types of games then can recommend.

Fun metroidvania, you can clearly see the hollow knight inspirations, but it's its own very own thing. It would be unfair to compre it to hollow knight being the masterpiece that game is, but it has fun combat that you can master after a few tries, medium difficulty, not too though, music that suits the game very well, many secrets, a unique artistic style and overall a very original vibe. I enjoyed it pretty much and would recommend if you like combat focused metroidvanias.

Very cute little metroidvania. Smooth traversal, decent combat, really nice art style. Your best friend is a froggo.

I'm bummed that it's over. Fantastic metroidvania that's very much inspired by Hollow Knight but with adjustable difficulty. It's clear that this was made by fans of the genre. The bugs in negative reviews have been addressed. I 100% the game and encountered no glitches.
